In defense of

In defense of everyone that is officially saying "What the hell?" to Lady Gaga
Honestly...  I feel like there are no words needed, but I'll continue. I just can not see how anybody would think highly of her anymore. I think that she wants attention and is trying extremely too hard to be eccentric and different. It would be one thing if she did this egg stunt at one of her own shows, but at the Grammy's? I think that Gaga is now spelled G-I-M-M-I-E-A-T-T-E-N-T-I-O-N.

  1. I think she just is a performance artist and that whenever she goes out in public, she finds the need to keep her act up.
Granted, I agree that it's a litttttle bit wacky and arrogant, but it is HER.

  2. It is justified if you think of her as a performance artist, but because I don't (she is just a pop star trying to get attention to me) its just dumb. and I agree with Allison that she is just being dumb and i guess gimmicky would apply.

  3. I agree with you. Over winter break I actually saw lady gaga back home at Tyson's corner mall. She was walking around wearing a dress literally made of newspaper with ridiculous makeup and crazy hair. It's just too much. If she didn't wear absurd outfits everywhere she went, I wouldn't mind as much.

  4. Yeah I agree with all three of you, I cant stand people who are constantly seeking attention and have to have the spot light on them. The Grammy's is an event to honor music's greatest singers and song writers, its not the circus.

  5. I think Gaga is trying to be innovative and artistic but she takes it too far. I was watching a special on the Grammy's on E! and they were commending her for being so committed to her genre. I think it is too much from an NYU degree holding, classically trained jazz singer.

  6. i don't think it's fair to limit her to what her degree says. i know many people who don't do what their degree says. My dad, for example, has never done any chemical engineering in his life. i know people who graduated with a marketing major and work at a nuclear power plant.
