The Oscars

I loved the Oscars and thought that everything that deserved recognition received plenty of it. Everyone is saying that Hathaway and Franco were boring or just not suitable but based on their inexperience I personally think they did a really good job!
I am especially ecstatic about Colin Firth's win

    I agree! Perhaps I didn't enjoy this years academy awards as much as I have enjoyed past ones, but I still thought Anne Hathaway and James Franco did a good job. They obviously went with the "appeal to a younger crowd" pitch, which alot of old timers in the crowd seemed to dislike-- I read an article that said nearly half of the audience just spent the time tweeting about how much they disliked the show. Classy? I think not. Regardless, I think that this year had some of the best performances and productions for a long time, and I believe wholheartedly Colin Firth deserved his award!

    I thought that the girl from True Grit should have won best supporting actress!

    I also wanted an Oscar free of Twilight, but NO. My night was semi-ruined after that!!
